Style 340 (Type MD-A)
A large-diameter Closer Joint designed to absorb misalignment, bending, and expansion.
Specifically developed for large-diameter pipelines of φ2000 and above to absorb misalignment, bending, and expansion. It consists of a sleeve slightly larger than the main pipe, a spigot pipe inserted into the sleeve and connected to the main pipe, a specially shaped rubber ring with an automatic sealing mechanism to seal the gap between the two pipes, an adapter to hold the rubber ring, and bolts that fasten the split adapters together.
Performance and specifications can be designed to suit specific operating conditions.
