Style FA311 (Type FA-CB)
A flange adapter designed to absorb expansion.
A double-pipe, sliding-type expansion joint consisting of a socket slightly larger than the main pipe with a flanged connection, a spigot pipe inserted into the socket and connected to the main pipe, a specially shaped rubber ring with an automatic sealing mechanism to seal the gap between the two pipes, a housing to retain the rubber ring, and bolts that fasten the split housing together.
It is designed for an operating pressure of up to 1 MPa. Performance and specifications can be tailored to suit specific operating conditions.
